By installing or using Teleprompter Deck you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
What the app does
Teleprompter Deck scrolls a script you write or import, and can record video or audio while it does. Your scripts and recordings are stored on your own device unless you choose to back them up.
Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold, billed, renewed and cancelled by the app store you bought them from — Google Play or the App Store — not by us. The price, the billing period and the length of any free trial are the ones shown by that store at the moment of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account; we cannot cancel it for you.
Refunds are handled under the policy of the store that took the payment.
Scripts written with AI
Where the app offers to draft a script, the topic you enter is sent to our service to generate it. What comes back is a draft: check it before you read it aloud, and you remain responsible for anything you publish.
Your content
Your scripts and recordings are yours. We claim no rights over them. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you put into the app.
Backups
If you turn on backup, copies of the files you choose are stored on our service so you can restore them. You can delete them at any time — see deleting your data.
Availability
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be free of faults or available without interruption, and we are not liable for lost recordings, missed takes or any indirect loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
Changes
These terms may change as the app does. The current version always lives at this address.
