Delete your data

DIMLOCK

DimLock has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. This page explains the little data there is and how to remove it. The full details are in the privacy policy.

Data on your phone

Your settings and the totals in the Stats tab are stored only on your phone. To delete them:

• Just the stats: in the app, open the Stats tab and tap Reset stats.
• Everything: Android Settings › Apps › DimLock › Storage › Clear storage, or uninstall the app.

Anonymous usage statistics

If you agreed to share usage data when you first opened the app (or later switched on Share usage data), the app sends anonymous statistics about which features are used to Google Firebase, linked to a random ID for that installation (not to your name).

• Stop it: in the app, open the Stats tab and switch off Share usage data. Nothing more is sent from then on.
• Delete what was sent: in the app, open the Stats tab, scroll to About and tap Copy usage ID. Email it to mysecondwish11@gmail.com with the subject "DimLock data deletion". We delete the data linked to that ID from Google Analytics within 30 days and confirm by email.
• Start fresh: uninstalling the app or clearing its storage gives it a new random ID, so later statistics are no longer linked to earlier ones.

Ad data

The free version shows a banner ad from Google AdMob, which uses your phone’s advertising ID. To change your ad consent (in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), open the app’s Stats tab and tap About > Ad privacy choices. To stop personalised ads or reset or delete your advertising ID, use your phone’s settings under Google > Ads (or Privacy > Ads). DimLock Pro removes the ads altogether.

Data that isn't deleted on request is removed automatically by Google Analytics at the end of the retention period set for the app.

Purchases

DimLock Pro purchases are processed and kept by Google Play under your Google account; we don't hold your payment details. To see or manage them, use the Google Play Store (profile picture › Payments & subscriptions). For Google's data, see your Google Account's data & privacy settings.
