What to include

Say which version of Chrome you use and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot of WhatsApp Web with the Wa SenderVel panel open helps. Blur or crop out your customers' names and numbers first.

Common questions

How do I open it? Open WhatsApp Web and click the Wa SenderVel bar at the top of your chat list, or the Campaign tile in the left bar. You can also click the extension's icon in Chrome's toolbar.

I can't see the button. Refresh the WhatsApp Web tab. If it still doesn't appear, click the extension's icon in Chrome's toolbar. The bar can be dragged to any spot you like; Settings has a button to put it back.

How should I write the numbers? With the country code, for example +971501234567. Spaces, dashes and brackets are fine. Invalid numbers and duplicates are removed before sending.

Can I import from Excel or Google Sheets? Yes: save or download the sheet as a CSV file, then choose Import CSV. The first row must hold the column names. Each column can be used in the message, for example {name}.

What are message versions? You can write up to five ways of saying your message. They are given out in turn: the first person gets version 1, the second version 2, and so on.

Can I reply to people while a campaign runs? Yes. Between messages WhatsApp Web works as usual. The next chat waits until you stop typing, and +2 min in the corner panel gives you more time. You can also pause the campaign and resume it later.

Can I check each message before it goes? Choose "I'll press Send myself" on the review step. Each chat opens with the message typed in, and nothing is sent until you press Send.

Why did it stop for the day? Wa SenderVel sends up to 500 messages a day. When a campaign reaches that, it pauses; resume it the next day and it carries on from the same person.

Can I send more than 500 a day? Email mysecondwish11@gmail.com and say how many messages a day you need.

Some numbers say "Not on WhatsApp". Those numbers don't have WhatsApp accounts. They are skipped and listed in the report.

Will WhatsApp block my number? WhatsApp may restrict numbers that people report or block. Only message customers who know you and expect your message, send smaller campaigns from new numbers, and use the Careful pace.
