Privacy policy
WA SENDERVEL
Last updated 25 October 2026. This policy covers the Wa SenderVel extension for Google Chrome, made by Farrukh Shahzad. Wa SenderVel works inside WhatsApp Web and sends personalised messages to a list of your contacts. In short: your contacts, messages and reports stay in your browser. The developer only receives anonymous usage counts, and you can turn those off.
What the developer collects
Wa SenderVel has no accounts, no advertising and no servers of its own. The only thing it sends is anonymous usage statistics, so the developer can see how the extension is used and improve it. They are sent to Google Analytics, through the developer's Firebase project, and contain:
- which actions happened: the extension was installed or updated, the panel was opened, a campaign was started, paused, resumed, stopped or finished, the daily limit was reached, a privacy option was switched, a single chat was opened;
- numbers and choices about a campaign: how many recipients and message versions, the sending mode and pace, whether a file was attached, whether the list was pasted or imported, how many messages were sent, skipped or failed, and how long it took;
- the extension's version, and a random identifier created for this browser, which is not linked to you, your Google account or your WhatsApp account.
The statistics never include phone numbers, contact names, CSV contents, message text, attachments or anything from your chats. Google processes them under Google's privacy policy. You can turn them off at any time in the extension's Settings, under Usage statistics.
Nothing else is sent to the developer or to any third party.
Cost
Wa SenderVel is free. There is nothing to buy, and no payment details are ever asked for.
What is stored in your browser
The extension saves these items with Chrome's local extension storage, on this computer only:
- your settings: sending pace and schedule, sending mode, privacy options, where you placed the header button, and whether usage statistics are on;
- the random identifier used for usage statistics;
- your draft campaign: the phone numbers you paste or the CSV file you import (with all its columns), your message versions, and the file you choose to attach;
- the current or last campaign: each phone number, the message it was given, its result (sent, not on WhatsApp, blocked, skipped or failed) and the time;
- counts of how many messages were sent today and this month, for the daily limit.
None of this is synced or uploaded. You can delete the campaign report from the extension's Settings, and removing the extension deletes everything it stored.
How it works with WhatsApp
Wa SenderVel only runs on web.whatsapp.com. For each recipient it opens the chat inside WhatsApp Web, using WhatsApp Web's own commands in the page (or, if those aren't available, WhatsApp Web's own message link), puts your message in the message box, and either presses Send or waits for you to press it. Your messages are therefore sent by your own WhatsApp account, like any message you type yourself, and WhatsApp handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.
To do its job, the extension reads parts of the WhatsApp Web page while it is open: whether a chat opened, whether a number is not on WhatsApp, and whether a message has finished sending. For the privacy options, it marks contact names, photos and message text in the page so they can be blurred on your screen. This happens in your browser. Nothing it reads is stored, except the result of each send listed above, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Reports
When you download a campaign report, it is created in your browser and saved straight to your downloads folder. It is never uploaded.
Your contacts
You choose who receives your messages. Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and follow WhatsApp's Terms of Service and the data protection laws that apply to you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new date.
