What to include

Say which version of Chrome you use, the address of the page you were testing, and which device you had chosen. A screenshot helps.

Common questions

How do I open it? Click the Responsive Lens button in Chrome's toolbar, or press Alt+Shift+R. Press Esc or the × to close it.

Nothing happens on some pages. Chrome doesn't let extensions run on its own pages, such as chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store. On those, Responsive Lens opens its workspace tab instead.

The site looks different from my real phone. The extension gives the page the device's screen size, user agent, touch support and pixel density. A site that picks its mobile layout on the server, from the request headers alone, may still send its desktop version.

I need a device that isn't in the list. Add your own under Custom device in the device picker, or email its name and screen size and it will be added.
